Nathaniel Levisay
Orchestra Consultant
Nathaniel Levisay began serious study of composition and conducting with
Roland T. Rudzitis and theory studies with Tirzah Foster when he was
seventeen years old. He continued his composition and theory studies with
Dr. Leonard Danek and conducting studies with Timothy Sawyer of the
Minnesota Chorale. With a fever for film music and the inspiration of
composer John Williams, Nathaniel began pursing a career in film scoring.
While living in Minneapolis he met composer Robert Elhai (Broadway's The
Lion King) who became and still is, "...the best mentor anyone could have
and an even better friend."
Upon moving to Los Angeles, Nathaniel began working with the orchestral
music team for the Warner Brothers Animated shows "Animaniacs", "Histeria!",
"Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" and "Sylvester and Tweety" and has just
recently completed his latest concert hall work, "Angry Candy and A Love
Song for the LAPD" for Solo Violin.
